Membership

Interested in learning more about space?  Have you ever seen the

rings of Saturn through a telescope? Want to connect with

people who are passionate about astronomy? Consider joining the

Hopatcong Observatory Astronomy Club!

Your membership helps:

•  Provide new astronomy equipment for the observatory

•  Support outreach to local students and scouts

•  Promote the hobby of amateur astronomy in North Jersey

Member benefits include:

•  Quarterly subscription to the Reflector magazine

•  Members-only observing sessions/demonstrations

•  Club meetings and voting

Any full-year membership dues paid at this time will cover membership through June 30, 2027. As a courtesy, new members who join now will receive complimentary membership from the date of payment through June 30, 2026, with their paid membership officially beginning on July 1, 2026.

Dues are $30 for individuals, and $55 for families (those living in the same household).
